A Roman gold and carnelian finger ring, ca 1st century AD the hollow hoop flat on the interior, rounded on the exterior, expanding to the shoulders, the high bezel set with an oval convex intaglio finely inscribed with a well incised peacock facing right.
Condition: The ring is intact and in very good condition overall. A lovely piece.
