of pale green glazed faience, both these petite examples feature a wide mouth and everted rim, the body tapering slightly to a flat base.  Amazingly, both feature their original contents, that, given the amber-like appearance suggests the original contents was a perfumed resin.

Ancient Egyptian tombs sometimes included a chapel or a table accessible to visitors so they could leave offerings to the deceased in the presence of Osiris.  Priests or family members would leave gifts, often food, for the deceased in order to sustain and amuse them in the after life.

Condition
: Minor chips to rim and deposits to surface.  Intact and in very good condition overall.

Dimensions: diameter 2 inches (5.08 centimeters), height 0.78 inches (2 centimeters); diameter 1.4 inches(3.5 centimeters) height 0.75 inch (1.9 centimeters)
