finely knapped in flint with serrated edges, exceptionally well presented in black custom frame. 

Sickles were used to cut crops like barley, emmer wheat and flax. The curved wood handle had a cutting edge of small, serrated flint blades, which would have been set in a groove and held in place by black resinous material.

Condition: All four examples are intact and in very good condition overall. Unusual to find such good examples.

Dimensions: Height of Largest: 3.3cm (1.3in); Frame Measurements: 11in x 8in.

Provenance: Museum deaccession, acquired by the museum in 1961.
